Ngan's primary focus has been the investigation of neuroinflammatory markers in the prefrontal cortex and amygdala of alcohol drinking mice, a project conducted in collaboration between the Edwards Lab at LSUHSC and the Roberto Lab at Scripps Research Institute. Ngan presented her findings in an oral presentation at LSU's Discovery Day, and her work was also presented by me at the 2021 Alcohol and Immunology Research Interest Group meeting.
