Roshaun Mitchell-Cleveland

PREP Scholar, 2020-2021

After joining the lab in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Roshaun contributed to several projects in the Edwards Lab. Her primary research investigated neuroadaptations in a female rat model of combined Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and alcoholic neuropathy and resulted in a poster presentation at ABRCMS 2020 and co-authorship on our 2021 Neuroscience Letters paper. As part of this project, Roshaun investigated markers of neuronal activation in a number of brain regions, including the motor cortex, insula, cingulate cortex, and amygdala.
